Vance, valuations and electric vehicles: PWM Tea Break

Nina Stanojevic, senior investment specialist at St James's place, speaks to PWM over a refreshing cuppa, discussing realignment of investment portfolios to take into account ongoing geopolitical trends, with equities in Europe and China offering increasingly attractive valuations, particularly the tech and defence sectors which are now gaining favour.

Speaking with Yuri Bender and Ali Al-Enazi, the trio discuss trying to predict what will and won't happen during President Trump's second administration and how the election of Friedrich Merz in Germany brings significant change to one of Europe's main economies, though it may be trade relationships between Europe and the USA that really dictates the future of European equities. Meanwhile, in Asia, the re-emergence of Jack Ma has highlighted the shifts within China's thinking as companies like DeepSeek and electric vehicle manufacturers become increasingly boisterous outside of their home market.
